3rd Day--362 Days to Follow

Crawled out at 10:30.  Didn't go to sunday school.  Tinkered a bit with a radio I am building.  Went over and got cliff about 2:30 & we went out to LaVern's.  Played games and horsed around there 'till about 4 P.M.  Cliff heard some more dirt that Mrs J. was throwing his way.  He said he couldn't figure it out.  He commented how we used to have just as much fun at Johnsons as we did at LaVern's  We all went to the Gem & saw -Big Broadcast of 37- It was good  Took LaVern home at 9:00.  Got home a little after 10 after taking Cliff--Glady's

2nd Day--363 Days to Follow

Went to work for 1/2 day  Installed a radio in Charles Jeffery's dad's car  I was through about 5 PM  It is sure turning cold now  Roy & Boyd left for calif. today.  I hope they don't have any trouble getting through.  There is 2 feet of snow at Cedar City.  Mr Pearson could not get through to go back to work at Grand Canyon lodge so he is back home again.  Roy doesn't have to leave the main highway so I guess he's O.K.  Cliff called and wanted to go somewhere, but LaVern has to work Saturdays.  So I said no  I crawled in at 7:30

1st Day--364 Days to Follow

New Year's Day

I arrived home at 7:30 AM after an all night party.  We sure had a lot of fun.  I went with LaVern, Cliff with Gladys.  We met a number of couples from Gladys's club.  Opal Tondro, Mary Grant, Velma, Hortense, and some of the old gang.  We went to Coveys and then to a progressive dinner & played games.  Hortense place for fruit cocktail, Mary Grant main course (kind of a chicken pie, hot biscuits, chocolate olives etc)  Had ice cream & cake at Glady's To bed at 730 up at 12:45.  Helped Roy ← fix his gas tank.  Got ready & went out to LaVern's at 5:00.  We went riding around till about 7:30 looking at shows but none tempted us.  We had a nice chat & went in & had something to eat & then played table games with Lottie & her boyfriend.  Frank somebody.  To bed at 11:30.
